Boston College Has a New Starting Quarterback - Dennis Grosel
Boston College Football has a new QB1. It was confirmed today by Jeff Hafley that starting quarterback Phil Jurkovec has suffered a bone fracture in his right wrist. He will most likely be out for the remainder of the season and Dennis Grosel will take over as BC's starting quarterback. Jeff Hafley was hopeful today when talking about Jurkovec's recent injury saying, "we expect a full recovery... he'll be back." Coach Hafley even talked about silver linings in respect to next season and Phil Jurkovec's potential return as the starter in 2022.
"We expect a full recovery... he's a tough kid, he's a resilient kid... he'll be back." - Jeff Hafley on Phil Jurkovec's recent injury
Hafley also expressed his enthusiasm and confidence in his new starting quarterback Dennis Grosel.
"Dennis is the prime example... he's put himself in the position that when his number's called he's ready to play... we're not gonna flinch, we're not gonna make excuses... I can't wait to see him play." - Jeff Hafley on new QB1 Dennis Grosel
